Bike carrier

Can anyone recommend a good bike carrier for an avant.
I need to carry 4 mountain bikes and I have a towbar.
So I presume the towbar mounted unit is probably best.
Any advice appreciated

I've not had any dealings with this my self but my dad use to carry 3 bikes on his two bar with out any issues.
I know thule does a bike carrier system for the tow bar that can 4 bikes I think.

Tow bar carrying systems or roof are much better than the tail gate version.
Have you thought about the roof bar systems?



P.S. I got a 2/3 bike carrier that clips on to the tail gate for sale.

Ya, thought about the roof system but a bit pricey because I would have to buy roof bars also.
I have a cheapo 2 bike carrier at the moment for the towbar but I definetely wouldn't get a third on it.
Send me a pic of yours and a € and I will have a look. No promises though

My grandad used it to move his bikes from the UK to spain when he owned Audrey.
It spent the rest of its time in the loft.

I'll weigh it when I get home and let you know.
