Afternoon.

Just had a couple of tyres put on the front and was going to get them to do the tracking (which is out by quite a bit on the nearside) but the guy said he couldn't undo the steering arm to do the adjustment.

Any ideas? Am I on the cusp of a world of pain?

Take it to someone with some knowledge m8... Just may need a bit of heat and a tap to free up

Give it a try plenty of wd40 and maybe a bit of heat if it won't budge

Will do. Need to look see if a broken sensor wire is the reason the pad warning light is on, so I'll attack the arm at the same time.

Cheers

I got my B5 (and a few other cars) arms with a giant stilson and scaffold pole combo. I have oxy-acetlyne, but you have to be careful of rubber damage.

I've also used a jack to turn the stilson on stubborn ones, but I'm rough!!

It's that or take steroids :weight_lift2:
