 cheers lads! if anything i need s line springs!

Not long bought a car from a garage, ( 2004 A3 2.0tdi dsg s line) when they got it in they fitted 2 new rear springs. But since getting it home i have noticed that the back is sitting pretty high compared to the front so wondering if they have fitted right springs - they are looking into it.

Hi, rather than start a new thread i thought i would bump this one.

I too have had a rear spring replaced and now the car looks like its sitting too high at the back.
I am looking for a part number so i can check the spring to make sure it is the correct part fitted.

Thanks

They take a while to settle mate, how long they been fitted?

Thank you for the reply, I got one spring replaced under warranty by the garage i bought the car from.
The spring just got replaced on Friday 10th August.

How long do they normally take to settle and how uch wil it drop by as is seems alot higher than before.

Some say a week, but should think by now it should of settled, did you measure clearance on both sides on flat surface?

No i have'nt measured anything yet, where is the best place to take measurments from/to? Or jusy a case of measuring the same points on the car?

Thanks for you help btw.

Then how do you know its higher?

Measure both sides & see if its different from old/new.
