Top mount GT30 surely? or going Precision 6262
just edited so it doesn't sound to suspect lol
"Heavey session" is an understatement! We all got steaming, you could have been arrested, we nearly got in a row with a load of huge Germans who were chasing you, we then destroyed James' bed tipping him upside down at the hotel, I then broke my toe in the morning with my hangover and staggering into a jack that was stupidly positioned at the end of my bed
Happy days
I would get that power steering pipe changed Stacey, a few Vauxhall Insignias have gone up in flames where the power steering pipe ruptured near the exhaust.... it was on watchdog a couple of week ago..
Right decisions decisions?
Top mount tubular v band manifold but unsure whether to wait until the end of june for it to have 1.5 inch pipe on the wastegate or get one a lot sooner with 1.25 but bill had a recent car suffer with boost creep and couldn't get the boost below 18psi
Turbo housings... Atp are being helpful and i am going to change to a tial v band hotside as only $20 more than my one but not sure what ar to go for .63 or .82
Comp cover i can now go to the full sized anti surge cover but is it worth it? Should just be able to exhange my one for it?
Ideally want the car to be as responsive as possible which points to the .63 housing but is it worth doing if cant bring the boost in early due to surge?
Opinions guys?
I'm on a 0.63 with my 2.1 and GTX3076r if that helps
0.6x as you are only normal ccWhat size hotside in your opinion would you go with on mine bill?
thats too small a hotside for your spec. you have built a diesel in power delivery terms.. lol
its a balance/trade off between spool and flow abilityseams to be ok for power delivery but i was to change how much would it cost?
as a guide.. my ibiza.. 1900cc, stock crank, cams, largeport, SEM etc etc.... peak power is at my softcut limiter and climbing... which is what I would expect for yours also.. but yours would all start happening sooner than mine given its bigger displacement.Piper cams are in the post and will get the housing swapped as i've had a look at my last dyno chart when it did 440bhp and you can see the short power band and were the power tails off
click the ones to compare... and see where your boost was and look for its lb/min flow... and as a guide.. 10lb of flow is 100bhp *ball park*
Is where the suggestion that the ko4 hybrids can do 350bhp comes from Bill? as it has a 35lb compressor wheel?
yes.... exactly.
and as we all know now.... or ****** well should do if they have been reading these hybrids threads for months and months..... lol, then just because the compressor can have this rating, everything else around it also has to be suitably sized for it
Today I've noticed I'm getting a bit of heat on my left lower leg when thrashing it?
I think have only noticed it today as am wearing shorts but pressume the heat is downpipe related?
Anyone else had simular issues? I had heard of someone else that had a simular thing think it was Hollie with the TT?
Yeah it felt like having the air blower on full heat on my leg briefly at times athough of coarse my blowers were off
Gotta admit i did see a peak of 975 egts on my b road blast this morning

I doubt it... its got a lot of heatshielding....... way way more than you have and a DP which does'nt actually touch anything
