Hi Guys and Gals!,

Been on the site for a sort while now and found loads of useful comment on how to fix about everything, BUT this I can find!

I an trying to code my RNS-e and it keeps coming up with error 31 message, what am I doing wrong?

Help please, NHN has said that my RNS has been hacked as firmware has an "X" in it, is this the problem, if so, how do I get round this?

trying to change the channel 37 or 56 from 0205700 to 0205135
just trying one digit at a time,
tried 0205705 for mfsw, but keep getting error 31

Yes, your mic fault is because the unit has been hacked for SDS and is looking for a voice control mic in the roof, two options, fit a mic and connect it to the RNS-E, or downgrade/upgrade the RNS-E to get rid of the SDS hack and then you don't need a mic and X--- will gio away as well.

Second fault if not because you have missed an option such as BOSE or Ipod interface/CD then it is probably an adaptation issue, have you actually been through the channels to check the adaptations?

Been through the adaptions many times, sure they are right... now!
I do have an ipod connector, maybe that's whats throwing it off, will have to find that code then...

If I put a mic in, will it work for the functions, so if I press the ptt button, or do I need something more?
where do you get one of those mic's, I was planning a full bluetooth install, when I have some more pocket money, is that the mic I could use?
Otherwise i'll upgrade or downgrade once I find out how to..

CD changer/Ipod is easy, change 0205115 to 0205117

As for the mic it will give you SDS for the navigation/Radio etc if you fit it and wire it into the RNS-E, further along the line it can be used for the bluetooth kit as well.

Worked spot on, thanks, When I either sort out a bluetooth kit or a mic, I will sort out the last bit!

If anyone has any info on how to wire a mic in to do the SDS with out the bluetooth kit and what parts I need to do this, I'd appreciate it.

Got my bluetooth kit today, all installed and works, just two problems that I need to overcome now.

The mic works, but the basis sds on the B/T kit doesn't.
I want to set up the full SDS, any ideas out there?

Based on you current installation you could try a coding of 0011422, but please check the link as some adaptation may also be required.

I coded modules 16,19,37 and 77. their codes below. I'm just wonering if its because i'm going from and old stereo (concert) with iso conections, to the dlock, then to another dlock for the bluetooth, maybe missing some pins, will have to check tomorrow as well as the adaption in 77
