B8 S-Line spec

Hi All
My first post in this section of the forum.
Currently I have a A3 Sportback, Due to needing more space I am in need of something bigger...

I liked the A3's sportback look and was also covenient for me ...
I can't knock AUDI and thought the closest thing that fits the bill is the B8 avant.

Car
What I have in mind is the S-LINE 2.0 TDI quattro Paddle shift(DSG?)
In missano red,okaya (if available) or sepang navy other colour suggestions peeps???

Any issues with paddle shift?
Is the 2.0TDI powerful enough for the weight of the body?
Has the turbo,injectors or flywheel had any major issues or recalls as the a3?
Anything to look out for when buying betwenn 20-40k on the clock???


Spec
I have been looking into the spec and hope some of you guys can help me
I am happy with my s-line spec now and would like to keep the toys and add some more,but did not know of the similarities in the a3 or a4 sline spec
What spec does the flat bottom come in as i have it now

is it after 2010?


I know it comes on the S3 and TDI black edition
I have seen some b8;s S-Line without a flat bottom?
Parking sensors,coming home leaving home lights,light pack:all inc in s-line?

Mods
Is is the same with the a4 in terms of oem mods:
I fitted the s3 side skirts
Sat nav
S3 Brake set up

I am guessing s4/rs4's are what i need to look into for the oem mods?

As far as I know there is no flat bottom wheel on the A4 (mine is sline), you might be able to get it optional, but havent seen one specced, most people change it out for an RS6 or TT one.

You only get the flat bottom wheel on the black edition as standard. Parking sensors are optional, xenons are standard, so I assume come with coming home as standard as I think my one is quite poverty spec s-line and has it (I dont even have cruise).

Half leather is standard too.

Only on the new facelift model, the older model didn't come with flat bottom wheel.

Oh right. Is there a new facelift model then? Didn't realise that. What are the differences then as I pick up my new one next week...

Facelift has new lights and grill / bumper. New steering wheel with round centre and (on BE) flat bottom. The centre console controls have also been simplified.

Oh right. I will have to go into Audi tomorrow and find out if its the facelift or not. It better be else I will have to cancel.

Just last week, but they already had it in the country. Guessing that'll make it a pre-facelift.

I am assuming the facelift is the new a4 with led tails?
Has any one fiotted the rs4 side skirts to a normal a4 or s line as of yet?

It was a pre-facelift one. Boooooo. So cancelled that one, and pick up the facelifted one in March. Managed to get them VERY close to the deal with the pre-facelift, and throw in the phantom black paint. NICE.... No other options though, coz I'm too cheap for that.

You aked in your post if there are any issues about fly wheels !
My 09 with 35ooo miles is on its third fly wheel , my bro in law has had his replaced ,on his car and quite a few he looked at before buying this car had them replaced .Dealer looked after me very well nice wee warranty job. So seems common enough problem , over here in rural co antrim anyway .

cheers for that, i guess warranty would cover that but would not like to always be having to go to audi to get the flywheel checked
