hi all, thought i would say hi and introduce myself,i have owned sooo many cars its hard to remember lol but these are a few ,im not one for leaving a car as standard,i believe all manufacturers are held within a budget and there are better quality and better looking products out there to improve on their design/budget,also adds a personal touch, just sold a skyline (the red gtr in the pics)and an astra shopper to buy the audi (a3 3.2 s-line) as a kind of bit of both car, really like it so far and have plans for it with cosmetic and performance upgrades, maybe even turbo in the future..

still may get myself another skyline (owned 8 now haha) and just use it as a track car

depends if i get another skyline,if i do it will be taken as close to 300 bhp as i can keeping it n/a and cosmeticly like the pic below,if i dont buy another skyline i will be seriously considering a turbo, the car already has a milltek cat back, bmc panel filter and remap (265 bhp on AMD dyno)

as soon as i got the car i had full oil/filter ,fuel filter etc etc change with fully synth titan (used to be called silkolene),and ran 0-60 and quarter mile to get an idea of where i am now and the differences once the bits i have added, did a 0-60 in 5.2 seconds and quarter in 13.8 @104 mph at york raceway before it closed, booked in on friday to have the callipers and centre sections of the discs painted (prob matt black)

lol, funnily enough the M3 was the one i kept for the shortest time, jayne hated it and told me it had to go,i thought it was ok,my preferred choice of car has and always will be skylines,i have owned and driven all sorts of cars from what you see ^^^ up there to experience days in R8's,ferraris etc and apart from the odd TVR i found nothing that gave the buzz a skyline does when giving it the beans,i tend to go through skylines a lot (owned 8 now) but always go back to them, the last one i had(the red GTR) was 435 bhp at 1 bar of boost, did 0-60 in 3.9 seconds, quartered in 11.7 and has been proven to hit the limiter in 5th by a previous owner ( a designer for ascari cars) at 191 mph,not many £10k cars that can do that LOL,the problem with skylines is they are not as refined a s you would hope and as gtst skylines are becoming cheaper the chav community are getting hold of them and giving the responsible owners a bad name :( (one of the reasons i dont want another skyline for the road, track only)

How on earth did you get a 0-60 in 5.2 seconds !! thats 1.5 seconds quicker than std. ? :meeting: and .5 second quicker than a stock S3 !! I spent 4 years on my 3.2 inc remap etc and couldnt touch my S3

also, took a few heavy items out such as the spare wheel etc, fuel was less than a quarter tank (and fuel is heavy),also have an uprated haldex controller (if that makes a difference) and run on v-power with a booster

100 ron adds about 10bhp on the rollers i found. Not easy to get it past 265bhp without spending real money. Turbo would do it but cost would be daft. Too many other components would need up rating as well..

yeh i have looked into the turbo option, the kit is roughly £12k and on top of that i would need suspension, brakes, clutch etc,so if i cater in £15k i should be able to create a right animal, thing is though for my cars value and £15k i could get an RS4 or similar,do like the A3 though

The A3 has by far the most class out of all the cars above! Welcome to the world of 4 rings

cheers lol,im sure its as bias here as it is on all forums though haha, the abuse i got on soc for buying a reps euro box is quite funny haha, been here once before though with one of these

Not bias bro, I'm a car fan in general!

me too as you can tell by the verity of cars i have owned but in most cases you find people are hardcore to whatever they own and believe anything else is not worthy of being on the road etc etc (especially a lot of honda owners haha)

There is something  about the E36 M3 in Estoril blue...

Nice collection of cars you've had there. The new Nissan GT-R would be in my top 5 if money was no object (along with a B7 RS4)

Welcome to the forum.

Deffo too much JAP in there for my liking though :ninja:

Looks nice mate..always loved the Skyline, seen one today in silver

Ah no worries lol, just theres a house round the corner from me which has had a few of your previous cars as well lol

Owned a few Japanese cars myself and loved them. That was back when I used to get enjoyment out of driving fast. The government/oil companies ruined that for me :(

I do however agree that German cars are just a little more refined. You know that every time you turn the key in a Japanese car it will start but German cars just have that extra solid, reassuring feel that makes you believe they are that reliable even when they aren't.
