Anybody bought them before? Just bought an s3 and they are a bit tired so could do with new ones.

Yes, they was around £75 when I got a driver side one 5 years ago, now they are £120 odd from Audi! Don't forget to get some new screws whilst you are at it, you need 4@24p+vat each! :)

120... Plus vat

Iv replaced both of mine... Prices are madness ATM because of euro... And Audi are Robbin bastids

You may need to get them sprayed , they come primed, some say they look the same colour, but mine certainly didn't. In fact they still don't match, need to get them sprayed

They are close enough in colour for me to lose any sleep over them.

Unpainted.

Hi have a word with damo.h he does vinyl wrapping they look mint when done.

I take it there is a metal strip inside the trim that rusts eventually making them not sit quite right? That's what happens on the a4's anyway. Not very cheap then.

Anyone know the size of the screws on these? Outside end of my drivers door strip has always sat proud as the screw rusted and snapped!

I have the same sitting wrongly issues and if you look down into where the blade is peeling from the door skin you can see some corrosion in the back of

Could anyone give a bullet point operation list on how to change the blades on the door bottoms.
Even better if it was a pictorial demo.

It's a piece of cake, seriously! There's 4 screws, 2 you can see on the front and the rear edge of the door, and 2 hidden ones on the middle, you just pull off the rubber grommets underneath the door car to reveal them. Once they are off, the whole thing just slides backwards and pulls off!

I highly recommend you use a magnetic screwdriver to do the middle 2 screws, cos if you drop them, the door car needs to come off to get them back, but even that only take 5 minutes to remove once you know how.
