I'm planning to do a bit of work on the car over the next few weeks including N249 bypass, SAI removal, EGR delete, oil pick-up pipe replacement, carbon cannister removal, Turbo-Intake-Pipe, Boost Hoses, A/C removal (not sure), Throttle body clean, hocky-puck valve clean and god knows what else (lisat as long as my arm)

But whilst the sump is off I'll be looking into changing the oil drain pipe (turbo > sump) due to not being in best of conditions and I've heard that it's sometimes wise to replace the oil feed pipe.

What I was wondering is if there were upgraded parts that you can buy for these?

P.S. where is the oil feed pipe located? AUM engine. I'm slowly learning new things every day reading these engines and car in general and it's keeping me busy lol

Anyone any ideas on original post?

Plus, how much of a 'kink' does the standard return pipe have as I have been informed that these can not be straight otherwise the turbo will dry out too quick;y?

Have you priced the return pipe yet? I did lol, I declined to pay there ransom and didn't replace it while doing my pick up pipe,

^^^Dave - I wouldn but unfortunately mine is all wearing away at the bottom, seems in pretty bad condition over age; probably more paranoia (sp?) but until I get it off I can't make out the condition of the full pipe.

Yeah i have mate - I was shocked. Hence why I'm wondering if their are better options out there for that sorta money.
