Hi all
Yesterday I left work at 2ish and it was slightly cloudy & on came my dipped beam. I think currently the dipped beam comes on to early, is it possible to alter the set point so that they come on when it's darker. Or must I just keep using the headlight switch.
Regards Karl

I think it is possible to set the sensor with Vag Com.... I have Auto lights on mine and to be honest I just let them do their job. I do notice the lights come on when it's cloudy and raining. I am sure the lights know when the wipers are on as the headlights normally come on at the same time in daylight...

I agree especially if you a DTDL, why do you need head lights as well ?

I've not noticed the lights coming on during cloudy days etc but no doubt after reading this I will now and feel the same lol

My DTRL's are the horrible yellow ones so would probably prefer the lights on anyway lol

Its the coming home lights that do my head in, they stay on for ages! I mean, how long does Audi think my drive way is???

And then I find myself looking out the window when I get in to make sure they have gone off lol

You can adjust the coming home light time on my dis sock so even if yours is an earlier model i am sure you can adjust them with VCDS.

Im pretty sure my coming home lights turn off when you lock the car.. But yer, love the fact you can adjust a few of these things on the new dis... And I think the auto dipped beam is a little too sensitive, they come on when you drive down slightly shaded country lanes on a sunny day!

I havent got access to VCDS lol :(

On the flip side of it I have managed to train my 2 year old daughter pretend she can turn them on by pointing at the car just like that advert lol

Kids are great lol :)

That's quality sock! Lol!! I might have to try that with my son..

I will try and get a video of it as it makes me laugh every time,

Only thing is she has no idea what Star Wars is ( I will educate her when the time is right ) so she tends to do it whilst wearing her wellies, pj's and fairy wings :)

I seem to recall there is a light sensor adjustment within module 09, you have to goto coding, then select the drop down box as the light sensor settings were a sub module of the 09 module, so has its own coding in there, has its own long coding area, you select your car type but guess you could try other settings.

I had an email from your daughter yesterday saying how she pretends to turn the lights on by pointing at your car because it cracks you up :)

She also said she expects cars with a sun band must have a different setting so it must be adjustable...which is quite bright for a 2 year old :)

Technically she's 22 months and she gets her brains from her dad :)

Oh, what's a sun band ? Lol

Oh right, like this one time, at band camp ......

Tip, dont blow on Petey's trumpet, apparently sticks of poo, so I heard
