tyres getting more expensive??

Is it me or are tyre prices flying up. I have a bulge on one of mine, so got a price on a new goodyear F1 Asym. comes it at £117! only talking about 225/45 R17 91Y

If it wasnt so important I would put it off, but dont really want to risk a blowout.

As I am only replacing 1 tyre, going to match it to the other rear one. £117 includes fitting, disposal etc. just thought it was a bit excessive.

falken 452's great tyres i have them at the mo 225/40/18's

yeh i got the exact same tyres. plenty of grip wet and dry and are lasting well. alot better than i thought theyd be!

If any of you are a member of Cost co, they are doing a deal on Michelin PS3, they're £120 a piece fitted or if you buy 4 you get a 20% discount, I'm getting two done next week and taking the other 2 away with me. Works out at £96 a piece then.

Got mine £82 fitted per corner. Not sure if the size you're looking Goodyear's just happen to be expensive?

I have GSD3's on my S3 and get a bearing sounding noise from the front of my car about 20mph ish. I've been told its just the tyres. Need new fronts soon but no one sells them anymore. Just going to change all 4 for assymetrics I think!
