Random Car games

Ok so what do you talk about when your in the car with the missus/gf? It gets to a point where things can get boring and you just need to make something up...

Now to be clear my ex that i have recently split up with was totally boring and wouldnt even result to playing the odd game in the car where as the new lady is much more fun and came up with this:

She says that since she has met me she notices soo many Audi's on the road. so we started pointing them out as we were driving about... then in the convo it came up how there are lots more Golfs around so we started pointing them out whenever we would see one. I added one more... the Shoe! everytime i saw a BMW 1 Series

Its kinda fun when you get into it and get a little competitive on who can spot it first! Just beware that it will make you look around and you may not concentrate on the road properly! (almost missed my turning yesterday)

Try it out guys... see any audi and point it out... mix it up with anycar... we even started pointing out silver yaris' as thats what she drives

Sometimes its nice to just not talk, its an easy silence or should be. At the moment we point out things new to us that we didnt see in the UK.

lol fair enough. Maybe thats why I like the peace sometimes, because we have the kids lol!!! If the journeys boring we put the music on loud and sing then laugh at how everyone sounds!!!!! (mostly out of tune!!)

We play a wicked game. It's called "see how long you can shut up for while I listen to talksport and look at other birds but pretend not too".

Me and my missus look out for the Robert Wiseman dairy trucks, you know, the ones painted up like a cow. First one to spot one yells out "Moo Cow Van".
One time was kinda embarrassing when I had my director in the car and yelled it out

I play the game of trying to stop the misses from slamming the car door, putting her feet on the dash, rubbing her feet on any thing apart from the mats and every now then we play virtual lottery win or talk about what we want in our house.

Snooker, see a red car then the next car that passes that is the same colour a one of the snooker colours is the colour you pot then you need another red then colour etc till a white car comes along and thats end of break after 15 reds you go on to the colours and same as before a white car is end of break.

two of you can choose different manufactures and play at the same time.

On family outtings we play different games like, eye spy, i packed in my bag, we also play a random game where you start with the name of a place eg cambridge, then the next person thinks of some where begining with the last letter like E - Edingborough, then H - Hull and so on. We even make words out of number plates and plays the eddy stowbart game too. Theres one..

lol, yeah the sun, kangaroos, palm trees, cockatoos, blokes in thongs! (thongs are flip flops here!!!) grass!!!! Its all sand!

We have a couple of games we play when on a trip with my daughter.

Usually we are towing the caravan, so we count to see how many other van's we see on the road whilst we get to our destination, we have all had a guess before we leave, and the winner get's sweet FA.

We also often also count aircooled VW's, as my daughter is obsessed with them since seeing one on the ferry to the isle of Wight a couple of years ago. She want's one when she grows up and becomes a vet and a dog lookerafterer!! but it's got to be blue!!

I always play Yellow Convertible Mini.

Simple game, 1 point for each of the above characteristics.

Example: Yellow Escort Convertible = 2 points.

The holy grail being a Mini Convertible in yellow. I've only ever seen one, and almost crashed with excitement.

I like the snooker one!

With my ex we used to play Punch Buggy and Yellow Mini. With Punch Buggy, who ever spots a VW Beetle hits the other and says "Punch buggy..." and then the colour of it. So a blue one would be "Punch buggy blue"

With Yellow Mini, who ever spots a yellow mini first keeps hitting the other one until it goes out of sight. I once got in first and followed it for 10 odd miles lol
