Should we merge General and Automotive chat sections?

There have been a few observations on here that the forum is less busy than it used to be, personally it's only these sections which I've observed to be less busy. Depending on the type of member and what they're looking for depends how many visit these area's, as I know a lot of users only ever viisit their specific model section.

So if I could arrange it to merge the General and Automotive chat sections (as it used to be) would it be a good idea?

Please vote as you feel fit, but this isn't a thread to discuss whether the forum "is dying on not"!

I'm sticking by my original idea - general automotive chat should be a sub section of general chat.

Leave it alone. It's not taking up too much space anyway. Infact if anything get rid of the other cack that don't really get used. (have a look at the ones last posted - I mean ages and ages ago). I'm sure there are a few you an find.
