Went for a drive yesterday up to Col de la Bonette, 2715 m / 8907 ft high, supposedly the highest road in europe, only reopened a few weeks ago due to snow.
Its the first time I've been able to drive my car properly with some fresh Vredestein Sessantas on it since November when I bought it. I came from an '06 megane sport and that handled wicked and was pretty surprised how the sportback went through the twisties yesterday! To say it's a 182bhp 2.0Tdi front wheel drive 5 door hatchback, it's brilliant.
Anyway here are a few pics, I think from Nice on the coast up through the foot hills of the alps to the highest road in europe, i have to say this is the best road I have driven, even better than the stelvio pass.
Road still snowed in
Reminds me of space to be honest
