How do I make sure I'm buying the right size spacers?

I'd say 10 and 15 would be spot on,i was running weitecs coilovers,but fully loaded caught slightly on rear but only on arch

Drop links? Bolts?

everything else should be fine, unless the bolts have seized up but on a 2006 car you should be fine, just have to order some coils and you good to go!

So these spacers...

I currently have 8J wheels on ET35, but they were cheap reps and 1 is foobarred, so have bought me a set of refurbed 'old RS4' style genuine Audi alloys from an S4 Cab. These are 8J too, but on an ET43. I understand enough about the offset to know that an 8mm spacer on each side would make them sit in the same place as current wheels, but I reckon they would look better even further out...

so, what offset/width are the wheels shown above to know how far out I should go?

Hello mate

I will take some pics and get them up over the weekend, yes I am running standard S3 wheels as yet it's not lowered. Gotta take time with the mods as the wife thinks I'm wasting money.

I want to change my wheels as i hate the offset but spacers are an option (although spacers are illegal in Australia).
If the standard wheels look good with spacers, i will just go down that path for now (can't afford new wheels atm).

I bid and won for 10mm and 15mm H & R track+ spacers on eBay, from a member on here

Ordered my coils from DPM this morning.

Decided after many recommendations to try the Joms. To be fair the car is mainly used for commuting a 10 mile round trip 3 times a week.
The odd motorway run and a trip to the peaks to blow the cobwebs out of the air filter!

They got a 2 year warranty and if they fail after that, I'll invest in a 'proper' set!

Can't wait to get em on now, just need to order some lamin x or maybe pick some up when I'm in the states at the end of the month.

Oh yeah, gonna swap the my09 rear lights for 11's too.

Can anyone recommend a good place to have the coils fitted?

No Worries, I went for H&R 10mm front and 12mm rear set up, got the bolts as well didn't bother with buying locking nuts.
