Just a Quick one with regard to head units??? As its twisting my melon man!!!!

Hi all i've got a double din symphony headunit, im trying to add a ipod connect2 to the back of it but my problems is

How the hell do you get the headunit out?????????????????

I've got the keys that you slot into the front grooves + i've tryed taking the plastic trim off directly under the steering wheel so as to be able to see the back of the headunit but with the keys in the front slots theres just no movement in the headunit even when i manage to get my hand to the back of the unit.Are there some screws in the side of the unit that have to be remove before it will come out???

I've stopped for now as i was starting to get car rage with the damn thing, why do audi make them so hard to remove.......Anybody any ideas????

Cheer Quattrojames thats what i did, yep i have all four keys maybe i put a couple in the wrong way around.

Crap i hope i've not damaged the pins on the headunit buy putting the keys in the wrong way around....

And take the glovebox out so you can push from behind. Do not pull on the keys!

Cheers for the help, fitted my Ipod adapter this morning + even manage to hide all the wires and make it look Factory fit.

Its amazing what you can do when you know how to remove the headunit
