Mine dont look like that I dont think, I'll Check at lunch.
 
Having said that you might have an extra coil than mine, Ill take a picture if I can.
 
Any good tips for an other IT engineer ;-)

always try turning it off and on again before anything else...

can't see which way up the coils are would make a difference really imo. i would have done them the other way mind...

If I remember my rear springs were symmetrical when they were in the box, yours look different as if they might have a correct orienatation

The springs being compressed isn't a problem but the springs need to be the other way with the part number reading correct.

Aww thats just what i said about the spring and part number lol.

Looks like you have another late night job for yourself lol.
 
lol its only one bolt to remove once the wheel is off to get the springs out, you will fly through it now you done it before.

At least you have peace of mind now.
 
I flipped the springs over last night but nearly ended up cross threading the lower shock bolts that go through the drop link, shock, then into the hub! Got a bit hairy at one point but managed to get them in striaght after greasing them up and persuading them in straight.
 
Good work! does it feel any different?
