Hi lads I've been posting on here for a few months and haven't seen it talked about I've been running a full vortex system with 3" dp decat for 9 months now and I think it's a great system the best I've had on any of my cars so just take a look I know they qoute some outragous figures for VAG cars I've not done a RR so I couldn't tell you if the figures were exact or anywhere near lol set me back £450 and it sounds beautiful IMO hope it helps guys

Two of my mates have them, they sound ok but it's a bit too much whistling not enough grumble! I have heard good torque gains.
 
The gains are jokes! 75bhp from just an exhaust? I would say 10bhp if that. and where is milltek on that?
 
Them claimed figures are ridiculous, and makes the company's credibility very doubtful..
Still, they will get the odd 19 year old buying them...and bragging.....lol
 
I once heard a Vortex exhaust system on am Audi TT and if i'm honest it sounded like a giant vacuum cleaner on boost, nothing like an exhaust at all. No idea how they gave an exhaust that sound but it sounded awful.
 
Dont get me wrong i know very well that u cannot gets that kind if gain from an exhaust But surely for legal reasons the claims must be half accurate and also my one sounds pretty beefy with a good rumble to it il try do a recording. Of it this weekend To show u fellas
 
Lmao over 100bhp added to the golf after fitting the exhaust! Thats just an outright lie, wouldnt buy from them to save my life!
 
DO NOT GET A VORTEX!! They are a waste of time and money! My friend believed all their ****** stats on their site where it adds '25 bhp'..... obviously it's not true. His 1.8T Ibiza Cupra lost power when he put it on! He then took it off and sold it because it was so bad. Would never recommend this to anyone!
 
Lads I'm not trying to sell them to ya lol just saying it's what i got i dont expect everyone to like it, I don't beleive the stats it was the closest custom exhaust place to me if you want to have a look at mine it's here

I would never in a million years believe 75bhp from just an exhaust system alone!!
Milltek would definately be the weapon of choice anyway for performance gains, if for no other reason but the hours of research, developement and testing into each system to prove BHP gains!

I came across a guy selling his 8l s3 last year who had gone with a vortex system and wanted to back to standard. So I swapped with him, had no info about the system but it looked well built. Did'nt expect any massive power gains, and did not get any!!! But I do like it, and it only whistles when i'm pushing her. So I'm happy :)
 
they include a remap in their figures i asked them before when i was tempted
 
I quite like the sound of the vacuum on boost lol n they quote 10% gain in bhp with their special middle box which is what makes that noise.
