Coolant Temperature Guage Not Working - Help and Advice Please?!

Hey!

My guage has stopped working on my dash - the needle just stays at the far left. It's been on the blink for a few weeks but does not move at all now. I run a VI Monitor so I can watch the temps on there and it's running fine (90degrees).

Does anyone know what the issue may be?

Broken guage? Sensor? etc

Coolant temperature sensor I expect, they fail 'quite' often and are only about £20 I think.

Had the temp sensor replaced in mine last week for the same problem!

round the back of the block IIRC, bitch to get to but possible

It's no. 3 on here. This is for 2.5 but it's not gonna be very different. Chris didn't you post/link to a guide on here?
