Considering i hit a Honda CRV hard enough to spin it through 90* out of my way and write it off then demolish a brick wall i think the A3 held up rather well. Needless to say the plastic bumper gave out but the bumper bar is still where it should be + plus a few small dents. The drivers side wing gave up but all its fixing points and the inner wing are perfect.

Proof its a pretty strong car ...lol

pad, i didnt know this happened mate.. :sadlike:

feel for ya... was you hurt?

thats pretty mental how its still in such good shape.. has it been jigged yet??

loads of minor damage but structurally its fine. considering it smashed the rear wheel clean off the CR-V i think its did rather well :)

Its being rebuilt as i type with an added Votex roof spoiler and a few bits and pieces tided up.

Mean while my world revolves round a 1.2 corsa courtesy car.........Ha ! I'll have the lot of ya !!

haha i can second this, though i want in an accident just looking at my s3 over from vagoc.co.uk

Sorry to hear about the latest incident Paddy - main thing is your OK though!

Will you be taking the opportunity to face lift the front end? i.e. S-Line front bumper or something of that ilk?

Holy smoke! Good thing you're ok Paddy!

I know i am going against the flow but i dont like the big single grill so i will be going std S-line twin grill.

Doesn't matter about masses as it's your own car :icon_thumright:

Hey you! How are you feeling now???

Well, thats why we have our A3s, strong and safe!

Considering the damage caused to the other vehicle and wall, she held up very well!!!! Glad she is being fixed, she didnt deserve to die! One hell of a car P!!!!

Least once fixed, no stone chips lol

Nice courtesy car heehee, cant imagine you in it tbh!

Glad you are ok though.

Cant see the photos due to being in work Paddy, but sounds like your fine thats the main thing mate.
And sounds like the car not too badly damaged, you being held at fault for the accident i take it?

Cheers Watty....fingers are still numb and very little neck movement but booked in to see a physio at the local sports centre on Tuesday :) that should fix it !! sports centres and me don't usually mix...wonder if they have a back entrance...( Cue jokes about Paddy wanting to use the back entrance:)

Accident defo my fault...no one else involved..lol

I am quite pleased seeing the car in the cold light of day today. It looked awful with the bumper and drivers wing fitted, What you cant see in the picture is the bonnets gone down the wing line drivers side as well. With the wing off the inner wing is fine and the damage is much more superficial than it looked at first. Bonnet alignment is fine so hinges and front scuttle are where they should be as well.

If the repair centre is half good and can match the colour well i think i might get away with this quite well :)

Thanks for all the kind words on various threads guys, really appreciated.
