Hello again Folks,

Its been a while since I posted, think my last poast was about me fitting a tuning box..right on Queue, last night on the way back from Ikea, I floored it in 4th and the clutch slipped slightly.
To be honest, i've been kind of expecting it, i've done 98k miles now and the bite was/is pretty high, so looks like i'm going to have to get it replaced soon.
What should I be looking to pay for a clutch ?

I'm in the same boat with my 190T . Mine is booked in with Badger5 (forum member) this coming Sat. He gave me a few option's on the type of clutch that can fit the 1.8t and i have settled for a Quattro clutch for my fwd 190t............................... Yes they do fit .

What sort of prices is badge 5 asking for a clutch change.

I tried a couple of local garages to me, none were really keen on doing mine for some reason, I assume changing the clutch on a 2.5 V6 Quattro..is just a clutch ?
One said...oooh about £500 plus Vat another said £400 2 others didn't bother ringing back.
What should I be looking at to pay ?

SSSSHHHHHHHSSSHHHH. I can't tell . But what i can say is this is the first A4 he's worked on i'm very pleased with all the work he has done,
ie re-map, log's, exhaust, and most importantly the advice he has given me along the way, he also take's his time. Both Bill and Paul are ASN forum member's (A3/S3 Forum).

Been Quoted £370 for a Clutch kit supplied and fitted and a further £370 if DMFW needs done, by my local Audi independent.
