and the code is not to be found in my manual anywhere!!! Is there a generic code or do I need to contact my dealer???

My code was written on a tear out card in IIRC the front of the head unit manual.

The idea is you don't leave it in the car as the code is meant to stop the aftermarket sale of stolen units. If you don't have it then you'll have to visit your dealer.

That is what I figured, I was really hoping I didn't have to go there but I will. I look inside the IIRC manual, but the foolios didn't write it in there. Thanks anyways
