Some kid has just robbed a bus from the local depo, and crashed it about 100 yrds up the road from my shop!
Kids today!

Actually my cousin once told me a story of a kid who stole a bus (in Northern Ireland too). Apparently once caught, nobody in the police could/would drive the bus back so they asked the kid to drive it back and gave him a police escort - which made me chuckle, though on a serious note - what will happen to these kids - ultimately nothing. Yet if it was one of us securing our properties we'd face the book - grrr.
Hope there was no injuries there jojo and good to hear the kitchen wasn't disturbed too much!

Funnily enough, we have a close Irish community here where my shop is based, but it's most likely the local chavs or some druggy on a high.
Apparently, according to a local resident, one of the bus drivers left his keys in the ignition at the depo, and someone jumped in, started it and drove off. They made it a mile away from the depo, including a left hand turn, and my road is a bit narrow, so they drove into a few parked cars on the left, then legged it.
It's all on CCTV at the depo apparently, probably got some kid in a hoody doing the job.

I didn't even know about it until someone poped in to tell me. Having a look outside, it was just a bus parked up with hazards on, and a few cop cars around it, couldn't walk up to have a closer peek, as I was working!
