Got a new S3 on the way and I've ordered it with the silver leather seat inserts. Guess I'm a little concerned that these will be a pain to keep clean, so my question is can anyone recommend something to treat them with to help keep them looking A1? The dealer was offering the Autoglym Lifeshine product but they were looking silly money for it and wanted to do the whole car and not just the seats.

Forget the non-lifeshine from the dealer. You can do a better job yourself and with better cloths, products and techniques at a fraction of the cost. Check out the Polished Bliss guides and use them as the foundation for your learning and next steps.

As for your silver leather, check out the other threads on leather care:

Get yourself some chemical bottles with standard sprayers. For new leather you'll need one for just water if your leather is new. Make sure you have some good quality microfibre cloths for wiping the leather and a soft-bristle brush for light agitation - again covered in the first of the aforementioned threads. You are in a strong position to make sure the leather in your car remains in tip-top factory condition.

you'd be suprised how easy silver leather is to keep looking good.

no problems with mine so far. Been easier to keep looking clean than black too.

I find that keeping baby/wet wipes in the car handy, incase someones spills something or the interior gets marked. Probably wouldn't recommend it long term but is a quick fix.
Also as madvw says they stay remarkably clean considering the light colour!
