audi concert cd error

A4 b6 concert unit.
When I put cd in it cant read it then says cd error. Can you take the unit apart and clean lens?
surely not the first to have this problem

You can but try a CD lens cleaner first

Well the cd did not work. Put it in and out about hundred times. I knew it wouldnt but worth a try I guess
