Nothing major, but I had a bit of a car cleaning day yesterday,..........getting the A6 all spanking for sale mainly (but gave the blue one a good wash aswell).
The enginebay was filthy and dusty when I bought the car due to the previous owner's private lane that gets dusty in summer. During the week I removed all plastic engine covers, scrubbed them, soaked them, scrubbed them again and then used various products to bring them back to looking like new, stain-free and jet black.
While the covers were off yesterday I spent a good 3 hours scrubbing up the bay itself. Many cloths and baby-wipes later it went from this...........
to this.............
via this..........
The underside of the bonnet is absolutely like new with the grime removed......
It makes the other engine look rather dirty now......
I changed the number plates finally to the shiny new fresh ones and then washed both cars with Meguiars Gold shampoo......
I'll carry on this week with it but there really isn't much to do to it now
