I ahve an Alrroad, so A6 in effect with funky suspension. You will love the biturbo - thirsty as hell but smooth and quick! Best of luck.another a6 fan here. still building the biturbo engine for it though B-)
Count me in too, I'm in a love/hate relationship with a 2001 1.8T Avant, silver/ black leather, RS6 alloys (not sure if reps, were on when I bought it!)
Love: interior comfort and space, long motorway journeys, stereo, handling.
Hate: ride on sh*t roads (ie most of Sheffield), oil leaks, lack of power compared to my old A4 saloon with same engine, and it's pretty thirsty..
Anyone reckon that downgrading to 17"s with a higher profile would drastically increase ride comfort without affecting the handling too badly??
Agreement mate, it is so thirsty, 10 pounds of petrol at the moment does me around 28miles combined town/motorway? is this normal I know it is a heavy car but come on.
or am i on my own theres seems to be very little chat about the a6
