Newbie to Audi...help please

I am a competent mechanic and I do not know enough about tuning these Audis. I just bought a 2001 A4 Quattro and I have some questions.
What is the stock boost?
What is a good boost to stay at when tuned?
What are good ECU options?
What are some normal mods for these cars?
What is the difference between the S4 and the 1.8t (motor size, type, transmission, specs)
What are good injectors for this car? What do they run?
Does a turbo swap (T28) require a larger fuel pump or is the stock large enough?

congrats on your new buy...i also just bought the same thing.
im pretty sure the stock boost is around 8-9. a good ECU option that everyone has been telling me to get is APR's v 2.0. you will need to replace your DV and your boost will go up to around 12-14....

most turbo on audis will go with a k03s or the k04 both these kits come with all the parts required and new fuel system accesories not sure about the fuel pump though my feeling is it wont have to be upgraded

Normal mods include:

chip, intake, turbo upgrade, diverter valve, exhaust, turbo downpipe, front mount intercooler, new silicone tubing...
