My S4 has got the bog standard leather seats, and I'd like to change them for the Recaro's. Does anyone know if I can only fit S4 seats, or if any of the other ones, ie S3, RS6 etc. could fit?
Look under your seat when it's in the fully rearward position. In the carpet you should see rectangular cut outs either side of the central seat mount. The electric seats are mounted here.
You would need to find an A4 with electric seats in a breakers, drill out the spot welds, remove the brackets and tack them to your floor pan. It depends on how competent at DIY you are, I wouldn't say it's too difficult.
