Any ideas how to stop my front wipers from juddering??

I've upgraded my standard S4 wipers to a pair of Aero wipers which look great and work well apart from the bloomin juddering...any ideas????

The wipers and blades are genuine VW/Audi parts.

    Cheers guys.

That usually happens to me when I'm on the motorway doing high speeds, I always thought it was the wipers trying to stick to the window with the air forcing it in different directions

You could try using a windscreen covering formula like Rain-X.

Not only will it mean you don't need to use your wipers as much, but it should also leave a smoother surface on your windscreen, which may eliminate the judder.

I Agree, Rain-X should help to get the wipers to move more freely

Siena *I'm not quite sure what you mean - sorry. I bought them off a guy from this forum (shaq12). The ad is still running http://audi-sport.net/classifieds/sh...uct/227/cat/16

All I know is that they are genuine Audi A4 B5 Aero wipers and blades. Sorry if I'm being completely stupid!

Don't think they make genuine B5 aero arms, think that's what Siena is getting at.

I used rain x, loved it when new on, barely used the wipers but after a while the wipers create a smeared section whihc is pretty nasty to look through when raining at night.
found myself cleaning it off and going back to glass.

trick is not to use the wipers AT ALL!

I currently have Bosch Aerowipers (Aeroblades) but they are straight fit to the arms. I am not fully convinced of their effectiveness....

Are the VAGParts arms and blades better for the B5?

I have these too and have to agree that they do seem to smear a bit more than conventional blades when used in light rain...........having said that I encountered some torrential rain last summer whilst on a journey (some of the heaviest rain I think I've ever seen!!) and the Aerowipers coped magnificently, they certainly impressed me that day for sure....................
