Hey Guys

I have a 1998 A4 avant tdi and i am considering lowering it, but no more than 25-30mm.

I have looked on ebay and have seen that you can get spring kits that just use the standard dampers, how do these kits tend to perform? and are there any that would be recomended?

Depending on the money situation when i get to the stage where i do this to the car would anyone recomend changing the dampers as well or are the std ones fine with the lowering springs?

I have also been looking into possibly going all out and getting a set of coil overs, as the adjustability that they allow would mean i could set them to where i wish, (handy for when i go home and have to travel up a rough lane.....) what would be the recomendations if this were the route i would follow?

Thanks

Adam

I got a kit for my b5 that had cheap springs but Bilstein shocks from europerformance, I'm really pleased with it, find the link here.

That looks like a reasonable kit for not much money, thanks dude, i will keep that in mind.

Anybody else?

Adam
