V6 springs suitable for 1.8T?

As above, seen some springs for sale classified, stated for a V6 saloon, unused Sports Springs from a reputable manufacturer but I can't seem to see if they are suitable for mine...

I know one of you will know!

Cause of the weight of the engine I spose?

I've checked a couple of sites now, Jamex, Eibach and Spax and some look like they are the same for all except the 1.6 models. i.e. all V6, 4cyl inc. TDi etc.

Confusion rains again!

You will find that they will do them but you would have to check what engine and if for Quattro for them to send them out correctly.

When I had H&R springs fitted to my 2.8 they fitted S4 spring instead of 2.8 Quattro springs and my car was lower but not by much.

After they swapped them out it sat another 20mm lower than S4's so imagine what it would do with a much lighter 1.8.


Also make sure you don't by the Avant springs.

I have non v6 springs fitted to my 2.6 and they were fine, the total weight differences in the cars aren't that much..

Your just sit lower but the other way round will mean he sits higher.
