My car lost its mind

I was waiting at the lights in my 1.9 TDi auto and when I pulled away the glow plug light was flashing and the car was in a weird kind of super limp mode where the throttle didn't respond. I stopped and switched off and then on again and all returned to normal.

is this anything I should be worried about?

Sadly your car is haunted and will require a professional exorcist.

But have you been able to scan it for codes?

as above, there should be a fault code logged?

Check the fault codes however my gut instinct tells me your brake light switch is faulty hence the computer is confused !
