Picked up a facelift bumper and have tried (unsucessfully, twice) to fit it to my pfl car.

My observations so far are the pfl wings have different mounting holes for the bumper guides, ive offered the new guides up to the wing and get one of the holes lined up.
The n/s of the bumper also appears to be fouling something, not sure if its the snorkel for the I/c or the fl fog lamp.
Gave up for the night and went back to stock.

Has anyone ever swapped bumpers like this before? If so whats the best way of dealing with these issues?

Thanks

As long as you have the FL guides and place the plastic bungs into the correct holes for the FL wing mounts, it's a straight swap, I have done it twice and gone the other way.

Nothing will foul as std, unless you have some massive IC nailed to the front

Plastic bungs? Maybe I'm missing some bits then. Do you have any pics?

He means the little plastic inserts that the side brackets screw into.

You need to move them into different positions for the FL brackets.

here is the hole arrangement on my wings.

I tried again, but i cant see any way without new holes.

Thats properly odd, both times i have done it there was multiple square holes for them white plastic things to go into.

Just re drill em, no harm, just be careful you don't drill into aircon pipes or the washer bottle

No air con, will take care with the water bottle and see how it goes.
