been fiddling with tracking on my car as we have some laser kit at work..

for some odd reason I decided to set the front toe to parallel, at the time if felt tighter.....

4 weeks down the line it had started to feel crap and annoy me,

so I reset to 2.5mm toe out and it feels a ****e load better........

free upgrade!

I think it depends on the wheel diameter?

A quick look online suggests that 2.5mm on a 17" rim is almost exactly 10mins.

the toe out helps drag the fat lazy agricultural quattro system round corners.
I personally use less than spec but not as much off as being zero (parallel).

saves the front tyres and gives a bit more neutral handling with the appropriate rear adjustment

Toe out makes any car feel more lively.

Obviously theres a balance against tyre wear and as such most ****/non-performance cars will specify very little, and really **** ones designed for old farts that cant see will even have toe in to make the steering numb and the car unwilling to turn so they dont end up wandering around the road!

Toe out will cause the front to wander or dart when driving in a straight line. A few mm of toe in is the best and reduces tyre wear.
Did you check the rear toe? It's adjustable with concentric bushings.
