Hi,

I want to replace my space saver with a full size alloy.

Audi a4 2003 1.9tdi

1) Will a 18" alloy fit in the boot?

2) My cuurent OEM rs4 alloys are ET43. The ones on ebay is ET45. Will this fit my car?

Thanks

hello i have a 2002 tdi with a 16" in the boot and there is still room so id say you would get one in there.
but to be safe take one of your ones and try it. i cant help with ? 2 but sure some one on here will.

An 18" wheel will fit in the spare wheel well with a 235/40 section tyre which I imagine you have?

That wheel will fit (assuming it's 5x112 etc...), but as the offset if different it will sit 2mm further into the car than your current wheels. If it's just to be used as a spare I wouldn't think thats a problem for short term use.

PS your current wheels can't be oem RS4 wheels as they are only available in these sizes:

19x9.0 OEM RS4 - ET29
18x8.5 OEM RS4 - ET21

Hi,

Thanks Simon2004 and QuattroJames - I will put a bid in.

My current wheels are the old style RS4 wheels - 9 Spokes (I think they are RS4)

Part number 4DO 601025AH
ET43
5 x 112
235/40/18

i have a 17 inch alloy in the boot but the size of the alloy isnt the issue because the overall roling radius will be the same, its the thickness of the wheel i.e. 8 inch. ive recently had a puncture and my 19X8 fitted nicely in the boot, i would say that an et45 would fit but i always thought that oem rs4 alloys had a different offset than 43 due to the wider arches that the rs4 has

Cheers Swarcup.

Mine are defo et43 and are 8in wide.

Want to get rid of the stupid spacesaver wheel.

I always thought they were b6 rs4 wheels.

You learn something new everyday.

Like many and my Bro inlaw Vinesh, he used to call his A8 wheels RS8's
