Anyone got a Snooper Indago Sat Nav?

I bought an ex display one from Germany (UK spec & maps) and it takes ages to get a signal.

Works fine once it gets one but can take around 30 mins which isn't very good if you start off in an unfamiliar place. Had it about 2 months now but it's not getting any faster with use.

I know it's a bit off topic but just wondered if anyone else has one and if so do they have similar problems?

Hi,

I've had my one for over 4 years, takes about 3 minutes if the car is still and upto 10 if I'm driving.

I have just updated the software, they supply a free disc for maps and POI changes, and this has made it a little better.

Should be a lot quicker that what you are seeing, that I am sure about.

Give them a ring, their tech guy's are helpfull.

Thanks Steve, I thought this should be the case but didn't know anyone else who has got one to get a comparison from.

I'll get in touch with Snooper as I haven't registered it yet and like you say the updates may help as well.
