Timing belt kit which one??

Ive seen that there are two timing belt kits available for the 1.9tdi a 038 198 119 A and a B derivative how do i know which one is correct for my 2002 a4 tdi awx 5 speed manual?

It's something to do with what tensioner iirc.
It's determined off your vin.

Visit a dealer or ECP and give your vin

Yeah I read something along them lines on the dark side developments web site, just thought someone on here might of known what to look for in the vin to determine it or whether it is a little random, my local tps tend not to be too helpful with part numbers etc and my local audi dealer is no use at all ill go to Ecp and see if they are able to help
