A4 Cab soft top re-set help?

hello,

I am having soft top reset promlems. We initially thought it was the motor or a pump but both appear to be working. We have tried to manually re-set teh top by mannually putting it up and down. Could it be that we need to do some sort of soft top code re-set?

I had problem with my roof and it was the pump it would go up a inch then stop , but it may be the control box both very expensive from audi

If the roof isn't closing fully then it's likely to be one of the sensors (and assuming the motor problem has been sorted). But if it's not doing anything then are you sure you have locked it down fully at the rear (with the key)? Once locked down properly (and assuming everything else is in good order) it will automatically re-set itself.

If you can give a bit more information about what it is and isn't doing?
