heater issues

Not sure and havent really investingated yet but my car heats upto temp as normal and sticks at 90. But heaters run cold. And take agood 45mins to start to feel warmer.

Coolant level fine.

Was working ok yesterday. Just this morning. Has the system got a heater control valve. How can I check water pumps working ok on these.

I think its the water pump. Wasnt take it much past 2k revs earlier due to the snow. But as soon as you gwt up to 3k heaters sunddenly turn hot then will go cold when you stop.

Water pump is not good...that's why my head gasket went on my last a4... Plastic impeller failure.

Ok its defo the water pump just pulling apart now. Problem is pulled the pump seem to be missing half the plastic impeller. Now how the hell do you get the rest of it out or is it a case of its never gonna see the light of day again.
