eBay Spoilers? Any good?

Anyone on here bought a replica rear S3 spoiler off eBay for a 3-door A3?

if so, was it any good? (the fit etc...)

Sorry mate but they are all pretty crap. you need the real thing or dont bother...

I could give you an e-bay one if you were nearer but i certainly wouldnt want it on my car.
 
I got one, tried it, sold it and got a genuine one

Save the middle man and get oem.

I did a post on it, but the glorious asn search engine wont find it. Even though I even know the title of the thread!

See for yourself, and I am lead to believe that is one of the 'better' quality ebay spoilers..........

What do you want ? votex or S-line ? 3 door or SB ?

what is the problem with the ebay ones as i was thinking of getting one???
 
You must have been lucky princess :)

from people I have spoken to and threads read, 99% of people who have tried the ebay spoilers have found they have been very poor fitting, ie twisted warped, bent.

I bought one myself, and it just wasnt right. However, I am fussy LOL!

Perhaps it is a lottery on whether you get a good one or a friday afternooner!

Humm strange! Mine was a perfect fit and they even did a brilliant job on the paint match.
Like you say I am a lucky princess :)
 
Hmm don't really have the money to waste buying one that's fake for it to look crap then get the real deal so might just wait.

or should I get one from the stealers?

Cheers. Wish they sold S-Line ones! I'm not 100% sure on the Vortex square shape.

Do OEM have a website that sell spoilers?
