On my way home from work yesterday my temp gauge dropped from the usual 90 down to 50 and sat there for a bit and then went back up to 90 and dropped back down.
Im guessing that is because of a faulty coolant temp sender, any one know where its located?
Ive had a search about on here but cant seem to find it.

There appear to be two temperature senders - according to the workshop manual as follows :-

The coolant temperature sender -G62- is located at the coolant connection on the cylinder head (left-side).

The radiator outlet coolant temperature sender -G83- is located on the thermostat connection.

Sorry but I have no idea which (if any) may be at fault.

Hope this helps

got an image there of the locations by any chance?
Ive found a few senders but all appear to be 2 pin and not the 4 pin part which i believe im looking for.

Yeah - but I can't seem to find a way to post it !!

By the way - both connectors are shown as having two pins
