Audi phone prep + iPhone 3G

Is there any reason the iPhone 3G won't work with the factory mobile phone prep I have ordered with my S3?

I wouldn't be worried about a cradle, just whether the iPhone functions properly over bluetooth and offers all the standard features.

I don't actually own an iPhone yet, so have chance to choose another phone if there are going to be problems.

I have the 3G iPhone and the Audi cradle, the combination works without issue compared with my old N95, now I have full access to my phonebook when using the MFSW.

As metioned in other posts the iPhone works fine with Bluetooth and the cradle is only for charging, however some people have reported a buzzing noise when you first make / receive a call.

That's pretty much all I needed to know. I was wondering about the phonebook thing as well.

Phonebook, dialed/received/missed calls all sync fine with no mucking around.

There is a buzz, about 1 second when you answer/make a call.

The ringtone that plays through your stereo when you get a call is a standard phone ring and not your iphone ringtone.

I think that's all thats worth commenting on...
