High mileage?

Whats considered high mileage for the 03> A3s?
I've been looking at a 80k 2.0fsi petrol (53 plate) and a 85k 2.0diesel (03 plate) are these going to be money pits?

Just need some reasuring before i commit

I would say it depends on their condition, and the servicing history, an 85k well cared for car can be far better then something with 40k that has been poorly looked after...
 
Had 3 A4s with 100+K on them (2 with 140K+) and they have cost next to nothing to run up til now.
