RNS-e and parking assist help

Hello people,

a mate of mine has just bought a a3 8p 2.0tdi on a 62 plate and has the parking sensors and RNSE when reversing the RNSE comes up with the parking sensors distances with a little picture of the rear end of a car.

Is this possible to code to my s3 59 plate OEM parking sensors and RNSE can't seem to find it when trying to code with VCDS.

Only if the RNSE is a MK2 193, the control module supports OPS and it has front and rear sensors.

Can I ask how to define if mine is a mk2, also the control module your on about is that the parking sensor one? I'm pretty sure my mates a3 only had the rear sensors.

correction my mate has got the front sensors.....lol.

Hi,
for the view on the rns-e.. Two things remove your rns-e to see if you have an 193..its written on the top. And the second you need to have both sensors.. Rear and front together.. If not.. You can't have the view. Cheers

If the 2nd from the left bottom button says Media on it, it's a Mk II.
