Yes mine is the 3.0D. I had looked at them a few weeks ago but the high tax put me off - but strangely this one is cheaper than the later models. My mates 56 plate is £480 odd, this 55 plate is £280?? I would have thought a newer model would be more eco friendly.

It was quick for a 4x4, 0-60 was only .4 slower than the E46 M3..

They're actually really good on cornering but I had 20 inch alloys on mine

Not sure about the tax thing tbh , I didn't think there was any difference .. Same shape and I'm sure the engines are same, I may be wrong though

I've had a lot of cars as I tend to change them within 12 months but that's the only car I've missed..

Same with my 3.2 , even the salesman thought it was the higher tax band , I think it must have changed to cover cars from around 2006 , leaving earlier cars unaffected , luckily I am on a 55 plate
