Alright lads...

I just bought a set of short and side shifter. Is there a guide how to take the interior trim off around the gear stick to get access to the "hole"

There should be a guide with it. If I remember correctly you put it into 3rd gear then unclip the front edge of the gaiter. Check out forges website, it should have a downloadable .pdf guide

Short shift and side shift are are done inside the engine bay,on top of the gear box!
