    Oil Capacity - Oil & Filter Change

    Hi guys,

    Got myself a new audi oil filter and sump plug today as I want to carry out a oil change on the S3 before it goes to Stage 2+. Does anyone know how much oil the S3 needs when changing it? Ive seen 5l and 4l talked about. Off to pick up some Castrol Edge 5-30w in the morning, so need to know how much to get!

    You need 5L mate.

    In future just book it online with national tyres, they changed my oil and filter for £38. No messing around, no oil to dispose of.

    Worth knowing Dave, thanks. Will use them for my interim changes rather than doing them myself at that price (always do an oil change between each dealer service).

    No way would I take my car to National Tyres, would rather do it myself even if it cost me double the price!

    I sat and watched them, you can't really go wrong tbh. Much more convienient than DIY and probably cheaper too.

    They just ordered one off Eurocarparts. Think it was a Bosch one. You can take your own one if you prefer OEM.
