Was suppose to be picking new car up tomorrow.

Insurance certificate has failed to turn up at dealer. I asked for it to be sent first class on Monday morning. Just to rub salt into the wound all the rest of the insurance stuff except the certificate turned up at my house this morning (second class) .

Contacted company who will now send it via guarrentteed next day delivery but unless the DVLA are open Sat (bet they ain't) its going to be Tuesday. DVLA Sheffield will not accept anything except the original cert, no fax, no photocopy, no electronic transmission.Talk about bad luck and bad timing!

So another 5 days wait for me then!

Oh man what a bummer.

Just keep repeating to yourself, good things come to those who wait,
good things come to those who wait,
good things come to those who wait,
good things come to those who wait,
good things come to those who wait,

This happened to me so I went to the insurance company who had several offices. I choose the one nearest me and collected the certificate.

Why dont you ask them where the nearest office is. at least it means getting you car sooner.
