hi m8, the way i fitted my skirts was to do the following, sorry i didnt take any pix whilst doing this,
remove rear quarter side rubbing strip by inserting a plastic trim removal tool etc into the small gap between the body and the rubbing strip and just pop off the trim
dont be scared you wont damage anything, once the strips off you will see oblong shaped holes in the body panel, give the panel a quick clean up, squirt a bit of wd40 into the oblong holes in the panel, next open the door of the car same side your working on, look at the bottom corner edge of the door and you will see a small screw (torq) remove this screw and slide the door blade to the side and it will come off, again clean the panel, ready for new blade fitment, next thing to do is pop off the sill cover inside the car, once removed you can see that the sill cover has lugs on the underside, i simply removed these and sanded the area flat, i didnt wish to fit s3 or s line covers, i wanted my originals refitted, which i did by using some sikkaflex, it still looks like they were done by the factory, now you can refit new blade edge to the door then replace the small screw you removed earlier, i should also mention that i didnt change my door edges i simply removed a couple of mm from them with my sander. this allows them to clear the inside sill, if you know what i mean,
ok you should be ready for fitting the first piece of the skirt to the car, start with the small front piece, it will simply pop into the body panel without much effort, no glue etc needed, ok next offer up the large section of the skirt to the car again doing same as front by pushing the skirt into the holes in the body, this will make more sense when your actually doing it lol, ok now that the skirt is partly fitted go back to the sill inside the door and align the skirt with the holes in the sill and push in the small clips that were supplied with the skirts, once this part is done, go have a brew, ok next thing is refit the sill covers ontop of the newly fitted skirt, now check door closes ok etc, which it should coz the skirts are very good quality and fitment, your nearly done, ok the way i attached the skirts to the under side of the car was to squeeze a blob of sikkaflex through the mounting point holes in the skirt (underneath car) then i attached a rubber tap washer to the blob of sikkaflex , this method saves drilling the car and again looks like a factory install, and after 2 years they are still holding strong! if theres anything else your not sure of let me know, ill try and take a few pix later today, i hope some of this will make sense to you.
